In it together

Projects that are interested in linking with us recognise that we are about co-operative work, and building a sense of movement around engaging with marginalised young people.  We expect that projects will contribute to the StreetSpace community as well as receive the support and processes we offer.

There are three main ways to link in with us. Branches and Partners have access to all our activities and processes. Alongside aims to support established projects that need non line management support, advice, coaching or mentoring.

Through our active working partnership with Church Urban Fund we are able to prioritise work in areas of high deprivation as well as provide specialised consultancy, CUF network and training links, and support to these projects.

Keeping it local
Our role is support local people and projects to work effectively in their local context and contemporary culture
Branches
Use the StreetSpace branding, policies, stages, constitution, welcome pack, induction and training etc. We help them set up, provide ID cards, and meet every few months to assess where they are in the work, help measure the outcomes, and plan how to move the work forward using our unique process. Churches often find the branch approach useful as it helps build credibility with local authorities and opens up new opportunities for funding.

Partners
For partners we offer all the above support but the group operates under a local name (i.e. using a local church name or charity) but work in partnership with us to join the StreetSpace Community. Partners often keep a strong sense of local identity as they may have been working locally for a number of years.

Alongside
This offers continued coaching and support for established projects that want to be more intentional about engaging with culture, or would like to be part of the wider community of practice.
